The countdown to Brightest Young Climate Leaders

Hi everyone ... this is Ishani here the organiser of Hindustan Times - Brightest Young climate leaders.

Its been a few months of intense preparation and promotion but I am glad to say the applications are still coming in and they are all very good. Its now going to be a tough task for all our Panelists to really choose the top 50 brightest young minds in the sector of climate change.

Post Copenhagen all our climate crusaders seem to have gone very quiet but I hope the Hindustan Times - Brightest Young climate leaders will be wake up call for one and all and show that innovation, leadership and entrepreneurship continues to grow amongst the youth irrespective and in spite of climate policy. In fact when I started working on the idea of Brightest Young climate leaders my intention was to create a platform and bring together all the young brilliant minds working on climate action as a scientist, economist, community action, business idea and create a huge wave of movement. Lets be clear - whilst international policy and domestic policy on climate change is important it doesnt have to be the only driver for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Next week is the last week for all of you young minds out there who havent yet applied to do so..... Jan 15 our applications close and we will announce our Panelists there after who will be judging your applications. Trust me you will love the panelists

I am going to be blogging all week so send me your repliers, thoughts and suggestions ... and dont forget to participate in the Hindustan Times - Brightest Young climate leaders

It is time to save our planet

Best wishes

Ishani
